How do I enrol with Regional Training Services?

Generally, the employer of an apprentice contacts a New Apprenticeship Centre to, amongst other things, organise a Training Agreement and to choose a Registered Training Organisation. Hopefully they have chosen Regional Training Services.

That having been done, Regional Training Services, will meet with the trainee and employer to formally complete the enrolment process. Several things occur here.First, a Department of Training Commencement Form is completed and signed. This provides some statistical information for the Department of Training.

Second, a Training Program Outline is completed and signed. This lists the units of competency that make up the qualification, who will deliver then training, when the training will be delivered and how it will be assessed.

Click on the appropriate link to see a list of the units of competency typically covered in the General Construction Trainees.

A copy of the Training Program Outline is provided to the apprentice. The original is sent to the Apprenticeship & Traineeship Support Network to facilitate the registration of the Apprenticeship.

Third, a Regional Training Services enrolment and Fee Details Form is completed. This finalises the enrolment processes. Apprentices will be notified in writing prior to the commencement of blocks of off-the-job training.
